Why Take This Class?
Our human body, which is a 'three-dimensional' sculpture, is not easy to observe vivid changes in anatomical elements such as bones, muscles, tendons, and skin according to the movement of the human body in a 2D plan.
In this class, we actively utilize 3D anatomy models to examine every part of the human body in detail and build an in-depth understanding of anatomy based on the interactions between human body components.
In addition, you can discover a vast amount of anatomical knowledge by focusing not only on the male human body but also on the female body, as well as the human body by age and race.
Join Eungho Lo, a character artist who has been working in the Hollywood CG industry for over 15 years and honing his anatomy knowledge, for a 3D anatomy class like never before.
Expand your understanding of the human body by studying anatomy from a variety of perspectives.

Hello, this is Eungho Lo, a character artist and VFX 3D modeler.
I worked at world-famous VFX studios Weta Digital, ILM, and ImageEngine, and am currently working as a facial artist at Digital Domain. I have been working in the Hollywood CG/VFX industry for 15 years, producing leading overseas films such as Avatar, Iron Man 3, and The Hobbit. participated in.
Technical approach is important when creating characters, but what I consider most important is anatomy, which is the basis of everything.
In this class, I will generously share the knowledge I have accumulated about Anatomy, so I hope it will be a helpful class for everyone who creates characters, regardless of field.

class features
Anatomy theory to effectively master using 3D
Forget the obvious anatomy you learned through 2D and drawings on floor plans. Learn anatomy 'three-dimensionally' through 3D models and create natural characters from any angle and pose.
Anatomy knowledge expanded by learning the human body by gender, age, and race
Not only the basic male human body, but also women, from infancy to adolescence and adulthood, and even Asians, whites, and blacks! Extensive anatomy knowledge that cannot be found in existing lectures can only be found in Noh Eung-ho's classes.
Maximize learning effectiveness! 3D anatomy model provided
Class benefits to help you create realistic characters! We provide 3D anatomy models for each gender and race that can be rotated 360 degrees to examine every nook and cranny of the human body.
※ The 3D model provided is a model sold commercially, and commercial use, modification, and redistribution are absolutely prohibited. (For personal study use only)

-
Understanding muscle shape and changesAn important but basic skill that no one told you about! By looking at which bone each muscle starts and ends at, you can easily realize the exact shape of the muscle and the change in shape when the muscle moves. -
Relationship between muscles and tendonsWe explain in detail the various aspects of the relationship between muscles and tendons, including how they relate to each other when posing in a specific pose, and how they appear on the outside. -
Interaction between bones, muscles, and skinBased on the structural characteristics and relationships of bones, muscles, and skin, you will understand how each element works in each pose and learn how to accurately express the human body.
-
Correcting beginners' mistakesWe will point out common mistakes made when creating characters, such as expressing the tendons on the back of the hand as bones, or drawing muscles that can only be seen in certain poses in all poses, and will also teach you how to express them correctly . -
Anatomical elements explored extensivelyWe will further enhance our understanding of the human body by taking a multi-faceted approach from an anatomy perspective, including the differences between the male and female human bodies and the characteristic appearances by age and race. -
Anatomy through MasterpiecesWe will expand our perspective on the expression of the human body by looking into how anatomy was expressed in the works of great artists, such as Michelangelo's David and Moses statues.

interview with
Character Artist Eungho Lo
What is the planning intention of this class?
Based on my memories of struggling to study CG on my own as a student due to economic and regional circumstances, I always wanted to create a course that was like a proper guide that could be helpful to many people creating characters . This class is completely different from the Anatomy lectures you have experienced so far, and we will focus on teaching you the 'most important basics' that no one has taught you well until now .
Why do character artists need to learn 'Anatomy'?
The human body is a very familiar object that we see and touch every day, so if there is anything wrong with the character's human body, it quickly feels awkward. Therefore , in order to create characters that are realistic and not awkward, it is necessary to learn about the structural characteristics of bones, muscles, and skin and the changes caused by their interactions .
What is the unique point of this class?
Many people find anatomy, or anthropology, difficult because it is a medical field. However, this class does not take a medical approach, but covers only what artists need. In particular, one of the strengths of this class is that the lectures are taught using 3D models rather than floor plans so that you can easily understand the shape and changes of the human body by imagining them in your head.
Who do you recommend this class to?
I recommend it to all artists and aspiring character artists who create characters not only in illustration, but also in VFX, animation, comics, hobbies, etc. Anatomy is the basic knowledge of all character creation, regardless of tool or genre. If you take this class, you will be equipped with flexible thinking about the human body as well as natural character creation abilities.
We will guide you through the program to use.
This class does not require any separate tools.
