Hello
I’m Klesis, a 3D Animator.
In animation, acting is one of the most important elements that brings a character to life. Expressing emotions like joy, anger, sorrow, and fear through facial expressions, dialogue timing, and body language requires depth beyond simple movement.
This course focuses on emotional acting and dialogue animation using Maya. We’ll begin with the basic theories of acting, then move into hands-on practice using real dialogue scenes. You’ll learn how to plan and express emotions through your character’s performance, with a strong focus on practical exercises that can be developed into portfolio pieces. If you want to create animation that goes beyond movement and connects with people emotionally, this course will be a solid guide for your journey.

Class Highlights
Master the Fundamentals of Emotional Acting and Character Movement
Learn the fundamentals of directing emotional performance to effectively convey feelings to the audience. You will explore multiple types of emotional expression, such as joy turning into excitement, anger shifting into intensity, and sorrow deepening into despair.
Techniques for Expressing Emotional Intensity Through Movement in Dialogue Scenes
Take a scene where a character faces a sad situation. At first, they try to hold back their sadness for a moment. Then, they show a defensive reaction, which eventually transitions into a gesture of resignation. By portraying this emotional progression naturally, you can bring out the full depth and nuance of the character’s feelings. In this course, you’ll study this very process through a practical example.
Techniques of dialogue animation to master emotional acting
Through the final project, you will learn the practical skills required in a real production environment. From pre-production to main production and post-production, where you refine the details, you’ll experience a complete workflow and develop a polished, professional-level animation.
