What do you consider your strengths when you work?
I’m constantly thinking about how I could do things more efficiently, whatever the task may be. When it comes to illustrations, I evaluate myself every moment to identify and improve my shortcomings. I think my natural tendency to endlessly optimize myself for growth, my sensitivity to trends and ability to analyze them, and my continued effort to apply all this to my artwork with care are not just my strengths, but also form the foundation of every illustration I make.

How are your unique strengths incorporated into the curriculum of this class?
Although many illustrators are acutely aware of the need to study, they also struggle with figuring out where they should start. I designed this class to explore the essence of studying art and common misperceptions one by one to help you solve your worries in the most intuitive way possible. The class topics consist of challenges that every illustrator has encountered at least once, with study methods or solutions proposed at the end of every chapter. As someone who has also experienced these challenges countless times, I will show you the study methods to identify their causes and how to overcome them so you can be a better illustrator. Following this process, you’ll be able to keep improving yourself even after finishing the class, which is the aim of my curriculum.

I intended this class to explore how to draw beautiful illustrations intuitively, rather than focusing entirely on theories. I’ll help you draw illustrations that do not just look good, but reflect what you love and keep up with the trends in an appropriate ratio. Specifically, this class focuses on practical and realistic tips such as how to make your own art while keeping up with trends and social media marketing strategies tailored to the ever-changing illustration industry.
