Master Manga Drawing Techniques
In this class, DecoponMAGI teaches you how to build your own IP from scratch by working across multiple skill areas. Centered on the idea of finishing a piece at 70% completion rather than not finishing at all, this class walks you through a complete production flow: turning a single idea into both an anime and a manga.
Next, you'll design your characters and world using silhouettes. Then, combining camera lens knowledge with a spatial drawing technique that isn't bound by perspective lines, you'll finish a convincing, cinematic layout in clean line art.
Finally, you'll rebuild that layout and output it into two different formats: an animatic and manga thumbnails. You'll finish by drawing the key visual that represents the completed work, wrapping up the entire process of bringing a story to its conclusion.
Come experience at Coloso the finishing power it takes to push through setbacks and give your story its final form.

Class Highlights
Let Go of Perfectionism and Lower the Bar! The ‘Finishing Power’ That Completes Your Work
Even if each step feels small, keep taking them and your project will get finished. This class values finishing what you start, even at 70% quality, above all else. The experience of actually seeing something through becomes the foundation for your next challenge. Here, you'll learn a realistic mindset and process for carrying a project all the way to completion instead of stopping partway.
See the Whole Picture, From Idea to Finished Work! A Workflow That Crosses Boundaries
From dreaming up a short story to writing the text plot, drawing the storyboard, building the animatic, designing the layout, animating, drawing the manga, and finishing the key visual, DecoponMAGI walks you through every stage solo. By touching on neighboring fields, you'll gain the perspective needed to judge a project as a whole.
Master ‘Layout’ Drawing With the Secrets of ‘Spatial Beat,’ an Incredibly Powerful Drawing Technique
You'll learn ‘Spatial Beat,’ a little-known spatial drawing technique developed by Yasuo Muroi of Anime Shijuku, who mentored DecoponMAGI in drawing. Because the Spatial Beat method doesn't rely on perspective lines, it lets you draw relaxed, natural, and believable scenery with ease and enjoyment. Using this incredibly powerful technique, which offers strengths that traditional perspective methods don't, DecoponMAGI will teach you how to draw layouts.
