platforms such as Ig, TikTok, FB, Webtoon, and XiaoHongShu. Olive debuted her
webcomics in 2019 and, with the support of Wee Lim, Bichi Mao gained significant
attention. Additionally, Olive has published four books and offers a diverse range of
Bichi Mao merchandise, available for purchase internationally.
Bichi Mao is a slice-of-life webcomic series featuring adorable cat characters. Furthermore, to expand its reach, Bichi Mao is exploring various new mediums, including 2D and 3D

Is there a specific reason why you chose this specific topic/themes?
We chose this specific topic because it's deeply personal to us. When we first started out, there wasn't a roadmap or mentor to guide us on how to create characters, turn them into IPs, and merchandise them. We navigated through years of trial and error, learning from our mistakes along the way. Now, we want to pay it forward by sharing our experiences and lessons learned with others who are embarking on a similar journey. Our goal is to provide aspiring creators with the guidance and roadmap we wish we had when we were starting out, so they can avoid common pitfalls and find success more efficiently.

What sets our class apart is our unique blend of practical experience, personal insights, and a warm, supportive approach. Unlike other classes, we don't just teach theoretical concepts; we draw from our own journey of trial and error, offering real-world examples and actionable advice. In our line of work, what really matters isn't just the tools you use, but your mindset and how you work with others. Being creative, adaptable, and able to bounce back from challenges are super important. Analyzing why, recognizing our shortcomings, and adapting quickly are vital to growth. So is being able to collaborate well and understand how the business side of things works.
