Question.01
What do you think is your strong suit as a hairstylist?

I believe my strong suit lies in tailoring and adapting hair styles that are popular for all people and providing them to my clients. Countless hair reviews get posted on social media, but there’s often a huge difference between getting your hair styled in a salon and styling it yourself at home. Most clients find it hard to style their hair by themselves. That’s why I have been finding ways to achieve the styles they want styles by letting their hair dry without much additional styling. I’ve worked hard and willingly taken on new challenges to keep up with popular hairstyles that continue to be popular.

Question.02
What is the most important skill to have as a hairstylist?

I think the most important skill for a hairstylist is having a sharp eye. You need to have the eye to tell which styles work and which styles don’t. No matter how skilled you are, if you are unable to provide clients with hairstyles that suit them, it will be extremely difficult for you to survive in this field. Some have natural talent, and others need to work to achieve them. If you are not born with that natural talent, I believe you have to work really hard to acquire it.

Question.03
Is there anything you’re looking forward to in creating this course with Coloso?

Throughout my seventeen years as a hairstylist, I’ve gone through a great deal of failures and other experiences that have taught me a lot. It wasn’t easy for me to share everything that I’ve learned with the world. But unlike when I first started out, the rise of social media has made it easy for hairstylists to share their work with each other. I’ve also been thinking of how I can share my knowledge with others for mutual growth, and Coloso has made my wishes come true. I have strived to prepare material that is easy to understand so that hairstylists will be able to learn and grow a lot through this online course.

Question.04
Is there anything you would like to say to your future students?

While preparing this course, I thought a great deal about how to share the things that I have learned in a simple way. Hairstyling work gets harder the more you learn, and there’s always something new to be learned. So I’ve been preparing these lessons with the hope that my tips will answer the concerns that many hairstylists may have. I’m pretty sure there are hairstylists out there who often get frustrated and think, “Why don’t I feel confident when working on my clients’ hair?” I also felt that way at one time and was able to overcome that insecurity. I am hoping that my videos will help you to do the same.
