Mary Kim
Hello, my name is Mary Kim, also known as Iseekim. I am a illustrator and 2d animator.
After learning and having 2D animation as part of the skill aspects, it was still a different medium compared to illustration, and I wanted to see the two together.
Like many others, my creative journey started as a hobby, and I couldn't rely on traditional classes for my creative endeavors. It was a long road and journey, and I want to share what I've learned through this class.
As I embark on this freelance adventure, I'm excited to bring my unique perspective and self-taught expertise to collaborate with you on projects that ignite the imagination and leave a lasting impact.

Interview with
Digital Artist Mary Kim
The industry is continuously evolving and very competitive. That said, mastering only one skill can get you so far. Having knowledge and displaying your work is very crucial to grab attention in a competitive space, and standing out can make a difference and can open doors for more opportunity.
Social media pretty much is the gateway that started my career, and those are the platforms I continuously showcase my skill set. No opportunity would have come by without the public eye.
The creative industry is a realm, full of possibilities, various kinds of mediums, multiple demands for specific skill sets, and too many to keep track of, and each artist has their own capability to stand out. When you want to be open to opportunities, you'd also want to be open to learning new things, for it is an endless learning journey.
