My primary tool of choice is After Effects, where I focus on animating illustrations and enhancing them to be as visually stunning as possible.

Developing an Eye for Animation & Layer Separation
We will first dive into art analysis by breaking down layers and the design. Once we have dissected the layers, we will develop an efficient workflow while preparing the layers for animation. This process will include learning the order, the preparation of layers, and the proper tools to use. This phase is very important because it determines how your animation will look and how much freedom you'll have later in the process.
Mastering AE Animation from Scratch
In this phase of the animation journey, I will introduce various animation tools and techniques, guide you through the process of achieving perfected loops in complex animations, and we will also get into the art of rigging and demonstrate how to animate different elements within an artwork. The focus will be on bringing all these components together and enhancing them with complementary visual effects.
Practice Makes It Perfect: Creating Your Own FX
We will learn how to bring the mesmerizing effects of your beloved games or anime to life! Join me in this section, where I'll break down the secrets behind some of the captivating visuals I've crafted. Find out and learn more about the most useful effects and understand the creative thought process behind them. We will also practice unlocking the key to generating your own visually stunning masterpieces.

Managing LayersYou can waste a lot of time trying to work with a messy project file if layers are not properly sorted. This will teach you how to not get lost in details and properly manage layers. -
Cleaning Overlapping PartsYour animation can be improved depending on how well you clean up parts. If your layers are properly redrawn, you will have more control over how much your character can move and not worry about revealing some overlapping sections. -
Keyframes and ExpressionsUnderstanding expressions and their relationship with keyframes will help to improve the complexity of your animation. Expressions are also good for solving specific problems, like telling AE to create a loop only between the last two keyframes of the layer and not all of them.

Animation and RiggingRigging can help you control multiple layers at once, saving you time spent on individual parts. It can also improve your animation since you are not focused on animating everything individually but have it all under control of the rigging tool. -
Custom VFXBeing able to create your own effects can be very handy and fulfilling. Visual effects can enhance the viewing experience and complement your animation. When dealing with art animation, it's important to keep it within the illustration's style and not go too far from it. -

Could you please share how you started your journey in the industry?
My art journey began with creating AMVs, and as I delved into mastering my main tool, my focus shifted toward motion graphics and design. Exploring more art animations, I began crafting dynamic animations inspired by popular fan art associated with VTubers. The strong bond between VTubers and their communities provided me with a lot of benefits, as some took notice of my work and generously reposted it. This recognition spurred a chain reaction, leading to messages from others interested in similar animations. With each collaboration, my network expanded, resulting in an increasing number of commissions.

Please share your thoughts on the industry's job market and what you see in the industry's future.
The art animation field may not be so popular in the animation industry as it is a less-traveled road compared to more widely recognized creative fields. Recently, I have noticed a spike in interest in art animations. I find it exciting that more people explore it and implement their ideas, which helps everyone improve. There are also a lot of different types of jobs you can apply your skills to. Like animating (posters and covers, stream loading screens, comic book panels, manga panels, video game character introductions, video game screens, etc.)

What do you think is the most important trait(s) to success in your industry?
Among the numerous important traits, one very crucial trait is establishing trust as an animator and possessing a thorough understanding of your clients' needs. These are pivotal factors that significantly enhance both the client's and your overall working experience. The infusion of personality into your work plays a decisive role in influencing whether a person chooses to commission you over another animator.
