Hi, I’m illustrator Yejji. I’m an instructor at Fevercell Academy and a freelance illustrator specializing in anime-style characters. As a child, I was more interested in depicting beautiful colors than drawing lines. Even now, as a professional and an adult, I think about and study coloring as much as I can.
I created this class to share everything I’ve learned from years of experimentation, including countless trials and errors, so you can become an even better illustrator. I will guide you through the journey of creating stunning and memorable artwork so you can learn to love the process and work hard to produce better art.

What do you consider your strengths when you work?
What do you consider your strengths when you work?
I think my ability to depict things in detail really makes my work shine. I have always found coloring and depiction more enjoyable than drawing a rough sketch, tracing lines, or coloring the base colors, no matter how long the process may take. This led me to put a lot of hours into polishing my depiction skills, which I now consider my biggest strength.

The curriculum of this class covers coloring from start to finish, largely focusing on improving the quality of depiction. Above all, I dedicated a considerable portion to follow-along demonstrations, so you can analyze and closely follow the way I create work in detail. If you’re curious to know how I interpret 3D shapes, analyze materials, and apply them all together, you won’t regret taking this class.

As an illustrator, you sometimes have to draw subjects that don’t appeal to you or spark your interest, which can make you lose enthusiasm for art or even find it boring. This can cause your skills to stagnate, even if you study hard, so I suggest taking some time to reflect on what you've always wanted to do. As long as you enjoy drawing and keep practicing, your skills will naturally improve. I hope we all continue our journey as illustrators well into the future.
