What do you consider your strengths when you work?
I have an eye for aesthetic beauty and can visualize it in detail. To draw a good-looking male character, not just any character, you need to consider a number of elements, including outfit design, poses, and moods, not to mention the face and hair. To achieve this, I have also combined countless references into one illustration and made them my own. Drawing on my extensive experience, I’d like to share the key details that allow you to create stunning male character illustrations.

How are your unique strengths incorporated into the curriculum of this class?
Although this class primarily focuses on lighting and coloring, the ultimate goal is to improve the quality of your character illustration, not just your skills. It aims to help you identify the keywords you want to convey through character design and set up the perfect composition, color, and lighting for your character so that it appears intuitively appealing.

This class teaches how to draw anime-style male characters as well as the cel shading method. Despite the growing demand for anime-style male characters in genres such as BL webtoons, there aren’t many resources available for those who want to learn cel shading techniques for designing male characters that appeal to female audiences.
