Hi. I am Yin Shiuan.
With 10 years of professional 3D asset experience in feature animation and AAA video games, I have worked on "How to Train Your Dragon TV," "LEGO Star Wars," "Monster Hunter World," "Resident Evil 7&4 Remake", "Street Fighter 6", and much more. I specialize in photoreal 3D assets and try to focus on creating believable 3D artwork.
We'll keep an understanding of 3D asset workflow, PBR workflow, non-destructive procedural workflow(Substance Designer & Houdini), scan data clean up/wrapping workflow and human anatomy. I have had great enthusiasm and passion for creating realistic assets for a long time. Over many years, the key to building a believable 3D asset not only requires continuous learning, observing, and practicing but also the ability to see the imperfections in each individual.
I'm currently working in the game industry in Taiwan. I'm exposed to a wide variety of jobs, such as environment, FX, procedural modeling, procedural texturing, and pipeline development. I enjoy R&D and love chasing world-class artwork every day.

3D Character Artist Yin Shiuan
It can be seen from my personal work that even in real-time characters, I like to push the quality to the next level. In my course, students can learn how to use real-time technology to create their favorite 3D realistic characters and have the knowledge and ability to participate in the production of international AAA projects.
Final Fantasy VIII was my first RPG game as a kid. The amazing CGI work stunned me, which sparked my passion for 3D art creation. My career journey began in the animation industry, where I developed this passion.
After working in animation for roughly five years, I was drawn to the gaming industry's real-time technology. Entering gaming presented a learning curve that challenged me to expand my skill set.
Now, real-time techniques are quite mature, yet there is still plenty of room for growth.
There is always a reason that pushes you to become an artist — maybe because you love drawing, perhaps because you enjoy art, or sometimes because creating art brings you joy. But eventually, there will be a time that's not fun for you if you're actually in the industry. Please remember the initial reason you wanted to become an artist! Keep pushing yourself along this path.
