Interview with
Webtoon Artist, VENTI
What were your planning plans for this class?
As the webtoon market expands rapidly, the demand for high-quality manuscripts is also rising. Therefore, we've developed a curriculum for those preparing for assistant roles, aspiring writers, and authors aiming to enhance the quality of their next serialized work. This lecture is designed to help you stay competitive in the webtoon industry and produce superior content. .
What are some of the unique points of this class?
Many people only focus on ‘drawing skills’ to learn comics. What we will focus on in this class is ‘directing skills’, which are the most important thing in creating webtoons . If a picture is a word, then directing is a sentence. If your understanding of directing increases through taking classes, I guarantee that you will also become much more confident in comics.
Is there a message you would like to share with aspiring artists?
The key to webtoons is time reduction. I will teach you a ‘real practical’ work process that allows you to pick out only the most important content and apply it ‘immediately’ to your manuscript . By organizing only the necessary know-how for each work process sequence, I have prepared a curriculum that can achieve the desired results for everyone , from aspiring artists who need to quickly improve their skills to established artists who are always short on time .
