Why Take This Class?
The goal of this class is to go over the essential skills to boost your creativity and design abilities.
Our focus is on two key areas: conceptualization and color theory. First, we will explore techniques to generate compelling concepts and develop a unique vision for your designs. Then, we'll analyze color theory principles and how to apply them in unconventional and unique ways.
By the end of this class, you will learn to create compelling and visually striking artwork and to use those designs to create your original merchandise.

An ever-experimenting freelance illustrator residing in my hometown Durban, South Africa. I’ve been passionate about drawing ever since I held a pencil for the first time.
I’ve freelanced for Sony Pictures Animation (Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse), designed covers and trading cards for MARVEL, illustrated comic covers for BOOM! Studios, co-published a creator-owned comic called INFINITY RUNNERS and worked as a style-frame artist for the animation studio Golden Wolf. Interview with
Anand Ramcheron2
There aren't many tutorials on composing multiple characters in a singular illustration. I wanted to share my process on how I to go about doing that.
Many courses are available on illustrating a single character so I wanted to tackle a more complex type of illustration: drawing multiple characters in a scene.
You're allowed to make 'bad' art. It's all part of the learning process. Don't be hard on your work when you're starting out. Focus on sketching and having fun. This craft can take many years to master but it's not impossible. Don't rush the process, stay present.
