Yun Amagasa
Hi, I am illustrator Yun Amagasa. After working at companies as an illustrator and art director, I now create works for games, VTubers, and light novels as a freelancer.
It has been my goal to launch a comprehensive class for beginner to intermediate artists and share the digital illustration and character design techniques I’ve honed throughout my career.
I’d like to recommend it to illustration beginners as well as those who want to take their artwork to the next level.

Interview with
Illustrator Yun Amagasa
But when it comes to freelancing, you need a distinctive style, and you have to be popular, so doing projects on social media is essential. Despite advances in AI, there is still a lot of demand for illustrators who create artwork by hand, especially for their drawing skills and experience. With tools becoming more advanced, however, illustrators are expected to be both skilled and fast, so I think you have to be the kind of illustrator that’s in demand today.
Drawing can be more mentally challenging than you realize, so while pushing yourself is important, if you draw what you enjoy, you can stay motivated. And I hope this class helps you do that.
