Why Take This Class?
When classifying painting styles, the two extremes, casual style and photorealistic style, are the most used in practice.
In this class, through two types of object practice, you will learn the differences and characteristics of the casual style, which emphasizes deformation, silhouette, and color combination, and the photorealistic style, which emphasizes density and description. Students will be able to choose the painting style that is more suitable for them.

Onsak
hello. I am Lee Tae Kim, a concept artist working under the name Onsak.
After graduating from college, I started publishing illustrations and worked at a game company for about 10 years, participating in several RPG projects such as 'Terra' and 'Lost Ark'. Currently, I am working as a lecturer at Art Incognito and have been publishing animation concepts as a freelancer for 6 years. , movies, games, and more.
What I pay most attention to while drawing is how to make my paintings appeal to the public. All visual creations have a trend, and if they do not reflect this, they will not be loved by the public.
Through this lecture, I would like to convey what I have been thinking about and researching for 16 years through a step-by-step curriculum ranging from how to draw sophisticated pictures, data collection, and object creation to illustration production.

interview
What concept artist Onsak wants to say
What is the planning intention or point of this lecture?
I planned the course so that you could not only start creating a game design portfolio, but also gain the concepts and work skills of anime-style illustrations, which I have worked on a lot. I hope that this lecture will be of help to those who do not know how to start creating a portfolio so that they can take their first steps.
What part do prospective students expect to have the most difficulty with?
It is a method of producing high-quality, completed design work and professional results . This is a practice method that was very helpful when I started studying drawing. I hope that in this lecture, you will be able to improve your design skills and improve the quality of your drawings by studying proportions and textures that fit your concept and mood.
What is the most important point in a stylish painting?
I think it is impossible to rank them because they all differ depending on the picture and the viewer's judgment criteria, but personally, I think it is important to exclude clichéd parts from the layout and refine the proportions by distributing the proportions of the screen or objects. I think it's just a matter of choosing it .
