Concept Artist
Lee b
Hello, this is Lee B, a concept artist with 11 years of experience. I have had various practical and outsourcing experiences at famous game companies and have been continuously studying for good pictures. There are many ways to study drawing, but rather than learning on your own through simple practice, a lot of learning and practice must be done simultaneously based on various theoretical materials.
In this class, we aim to lower the barrier to entry felt by those who are just starting out in background drawing through various learning and practices.
Based on what we have studied over the years and our personal know-how, we will help you create a more grounded picture together.

Interview with
Concept Artist, Lee b
What do you focus on when constructing the curriculum?
The point is to approach the things you are drawing with as much basis as possible, rather than drawing them based on sense or inertia. While drawing the background , we continuously explore the reasons why the picture looks bad and the various reasons why it looks good, and based on basic theories and principles, we provide various solutions based on fundamental content rather than fragmentary styles or fixed methods. We will provide it to you.
If you had to choose the target audience for this course, what would it be?
It is suitable for beginners or those who have started drawing but have not yet developed a good foundation . When drawing, beginners often draw out of inertia for no particular reason or simply imitate a drawing that looks cool just because it looks good. I think it shows up. Ironically, most good paintings that stimulate people's emotions are actually very planned and systematic, so we need to explore numerous reasons and evidence.
What are the unique points of this course?
Gorgeous light, light and dark colors are also important parts of a painting. But I don't think adding these elements to a bad form can improve the overall picture. Many people who draw pictures will take this for granted. The importance of form is often overlooked because it is thought to be so obvious. Therefore, I especially emphasized how to draw based on evidence by using many elements necessary for drawing, including good-looking shapes and designs .
