Interview with
Animator Jonghyun JUNG-BOIX
The previous classes focused primarily on practical 2D animation. This time, however, we'll be creating 3D animation with Blender as well. Most importantly, all the classes will be done entirely using Blender, a free tool, without paid programs. I’ll introduce fresh, trendy action animation skills that I haven’t shown before.
Many people wish to create their own animations after watching stunning visuals and action sequences but hesitate when faced with the cost of paid software. I designed this class to introduce Blender, a powerful and accessible tool, to help many people learn valuable animation techniques.
This class teaches you how to thoroughly handle both 2D and 3D, effectively utilizing the strengths and weaknesses of each. In the industry, you can generally encounter specialists who delve deeply into a single field, as well as generalists who cover various areas. While I also have many fields I’m unfamiliar with, I believe I can share detailed insights based on my extensive experience in both 2D and 3D in top-tier industry environments.
Blender is an incredible free tool that allows anyone to take their first steps with ease. I encourage industry professionals and those familiar with other tools to try Blender and its Grease Pencil and explore their potential without hesitation. As Blender grows and becomes more widely used, I recommend challenging yourself to learn new tools and techniques without fear of learning something new.
