Hello, I’m Illustrator ttosom. I’ve spent many years working in the game illustration and virtual YouTuber industries, and I am currently teaching as an instructor at ArtRooms, where I also run illustration classes. What do you consider your greatest strength in your work process?

I am most confident in creating a structured study method that reduces failures through logical thinking. My greatest strength is analyzing the structural reasons why a drawing doesn’t work, and then directly improving it through concrete solutions.

How is this strength reflected in the curriculum of your class?

In this course, we go beyond simply learning how to “make things look pretty.” Instead, we start by asking why a drawing doesn’t work and how it can be improved. Students first take a level test and go through a checklist to objectively assess their current state. Based on that, we carefully examine the root causes of artistic blocks and their solutions. This curriculum is designed to help students develop the ability to analyze and improve their own work independently.

This class focuses on solving these very real struggles faced by students. With years of teaching experience, I understand exactly where students tend to struggle the most and feel discouraged. Lastly, do you have a message for your students and fellow creators?

When drawing, there will come a time when you feel stuck behind what seems like an insurmountable wall. In those moments, it can feel like you’ll never get past it. But through years of study, I’ve realized that the issue isn’t that the wall is impossible—it’s simply that you don’t yet know the right method. There are no problems in art that can never be solved.

This course was built on that realization, with the goal of helping you overcome your own barriers. It’s not that you “can’t” do it - it’s that you just don’t yet know how to do it. Through this class, I’ll guide you to discover your own potential and grow beyond your limits.
