Why Take This Class?
Three Simple Steps, and a Character is Born!
TIf you’ve taken Sinms’ first class, you might’ve felt like there's more to character drawing—and you’d be absolutely right. There’s so much more, and that’s exactly why this second class exists. Sinms created it to guide you through the next step in the process. Rather than overwhelming you with overly complex techniques, this class focuses on strengthening fundamentals and showing you how to apply them confidently in your own work after the class is over.
This class is divided into three core topics: anatomy, pose, and coloring. Understanding human anatomy will significantly improve your ability to draw the body accurately by revealing how and why it moves the way it does. By practicing a variety of poses and applying line flow techniques, you'll learn how to place your character in dynamic and natural stances with confidence. Finally, coloring is often considered the highlight of character illustration. Through foundational skills such as flat coloring, shadow theory, and effective color combinations, you’ll bring out the personality and energy of your characters like never before. Designed with beginners in mind, this class will help you level up your drawing skills step by step. Whether you're just starting out or looking to strengthen your basics, this class gives you the tools to transform your ideas into fully realized, expressive characters.

Sinms
Hi, I'm Sinms, a professional illustration instructor specializing in anatomy, character design, and sci-fi concept art. With over 20 years of experience in teaching and professional illustration, I will be bringing a unique blend of classical and digital art training to the table. I'm a graduate from a fine arts university with a major in advertising, and I have studied and practiced art intensively for more than two decades — transitioning from traditional hand-drawn techniques to mastering modern digital tools. I'm currently a lecturer at Clazroom College, having taught over 1,000 students, many of whom have gone on to become professional illustrators in the creative industry.
I specialize specifically in human anatomy & muscle structure, perspective & form breakdown, sci-fi mechanical design, monster and creature concept design, character illustration & visual storytelling, color theory, lighting control, and comic-style storyboarding. Driven by a passion for sharing practical, professional techniques, I'll be focusing on helping students build strong fundamentals while developing their own artistic identity.
We believe that every dream is precious and everyone has the ability to attain their goals.
We believe that a good school is a community full of culture, philosophy and good mentors.
Our environment embodies the dreams and will of all our students. They are the soul of this community.
They are here to tell us that passion, hard work, and commitment are more valuable than the carelessly-used word we call “talent”.
